An agreement was signed together by Ibaraki Prefectural Government, KEK and JAEA (Japan Atomic Energy Agency) on jointly promoting the use of the neutron beam lines at J-PARC. (November 18th) The three parties have been collaborating from before. The new agreement signed is to prepare for the commissioning of the neutron beam lines soon to start. The agreement covers user support, maintenance and promotion of the two neutron beam lines dedicated for the Ibaraki Prefecture.
