Tsuneo Suzuki, Minisiter of MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) visited KEK on Sep. 4.

Atsuto Suzuki, Director General of KEK, welcomed him and explained on the KEK's current situation and its plan of research activities as one of the leading institutes in the field of accelerator science. After having the briefing, Minister Suzuki visited several research facilities.

Following the minister, on Sep. 5, Toshio Yamauchi, the vice minister of MEXT, also visited KEK.
