Dr. Jun-ichi Adachi (Institute of Materials Structure Science, KEK) won the
Award for the Young Distinguished Scientist of the Japan Society for
Molecular Science, for his outstanding contribution to "the development of
new techniques of soft X-ray spectroscopy to understand the dynamics of
photo-ionization and photo-dissociation for gas-phase molecules".
The award
aims to promote molecular sciences through recognizing young scientists for
their outstanding achievements and contributions in the field of molecular
science.
