Linear colliders are widely considered to be the next generation large accelerators that follow the LHC. In oder to harvest the full physics potential of linear colliders, unprecedented resolutions are necessary for the detectors. We review the requirements for the linear collider detectors and present current status of detector R&Ds as well as of preparation for actual detector collaborations. |
