Physics at the International Linear Collider being studied by the LCFI (Linear Collider Flavour Identification) group in the UK will be reviewed. The benefits of a precise vertex detector at
earlier e+e- colliders will be summarised before discussing the physics at the future linear collider and the design of a CCD pixel vertex detector tailored to meet the physics needs. |
