The top quark condensation is an alternative mechanism
for the electroweak symmetry breaking.
The original model is often called as the top mode standard model (TMSM).
Most of realistic models for the top quark condensation are
based on the topcolor dynamics.
Recently, the TMSM with extra dimensions, which is based on the dynamics of
the bulk QCD, has been proposed.
After a brief review of the TMSM and the topcolor dynamics (or the bulk QCD),
I introduce some actual examples, e.g. the top-seesaw model,
the TMSM with extra dimensions, etc.,
and explain their essential features for experimentalists.
I discuss their collider phenomenology, mainly on the Higgs boson production. (revised 11-Jan) |
