Evidence for D0-D0_bar mixing at Belle |

While the phenomena of mixing between a meson and its anti-particle is
well known in the system of neutral kaons, B0d mesons, and since the
last year also in the system of B0s mesons, it has eluded the
experimental observation in the system of D0 mesons until recently. New
measurements by Belle and BaBar collaborations yielded results,
representing the first evidence for the D0 meson mixing. After a short
introduction to the phenomenology of D0 mixing, measurements using
different decay modes will be presented, with an emphasis on the recent
results by the Belle collaboration. |
