Prophecy4f:
The decay of the Higgs boson into four fermions via a virtual W-boson
or Z-boson pair is one of the most important decay modes in the
Higgs-boson search at the LHC. We present a Monte Carlo event
generator for these processes called Prophecy4f, which contains the
complete NLO electroweak and QCD radiative corrections. The
intermediate W- and Z-boson resonances are described in a gauge
invariant way in the so-called complex-mass scheme. Potential
numerical problems due to small determinants in the loop calculation
are solved by applying recently developed techniques. The corrections
to partial decay widths typically amount to some per cent and increase
with growing Higgs mass reaching about 8% at mH = 500 GeV.
For angular distributions, which can be used for measuring the
CP properties of the Higgs boson, the corrections are somewhat larger,
distort the shapes and sensitively depend on the treatment of photon
radiation.
