We examine certain two-charge supersymmetric states with spin in
five-dimensional string theories which can be viewed as a "small black ring"
when the gravitational coupling is large.
This is a very interesting object in the sense that it does not have an
event horizon in the supergravity limit whereas it microscopically has a
finite entropy.
We give both indirect and direct evidence that non-vanishing horizon is
formed for this "small black ring" by higher derivative corrections in
string theory. Furthermore this stringy-horizon accout for the correct
microscopic entropy to all orders in an asymptotic expansion, which is far
more precise than Bekenstein-Hawking entropy formula.
