アブストラクト: The SO(10) grand unified models are very attractive to address the neutrino data. However, the suppression of proton decay is a major problem in any supersymmetric grand unified models due to dimension five operators. In this talk, we will study the case where the dimension five operators do really exist and the proton decay via colored Higgsino can be observed in the future megaton class of water Cherenkov detector. In such a case, flavor sector is restricted in the model and/or unification scale and colored Higgsino mass are larger than 10^{17} GeV. Flavor violations in quark and lepton sectors are related to the SO(10) breaking vacua, and they can be the probes of the GUT scale physics. We study that the constraints from nucleon decays may imply a sizable flavor violation in the quark sector, which affects to meson mixings, rather than leptonic sector, which can be tested in future.
