Resulting from the last earthquake, our Research Support System (KRS) is stopped.
Apologizing for inconvenience to our Common Users, we are looking for your kind understanding.
1. Applications for Accommodation and Travel Support
First, contact your Host Researcher in KEK. After obtaining the Work (Business Travel) Request,
please contact Users Office by mail asking for the booking.
Those who get Work Request, but do not to stay overnight, please apply for the Travel Support in the
system as soon as it is retrieval .
2. Reimbursement of the Cancellation for Accommodation fees
Traffic roads, railways and airplanes were influenced by the earthquake. Those who paid the
cancellation fees, need to submit the receipts for reimbursement procedures. Please mail or fax to the
Users Office.
3. Accommodation applications after March 11th (earthquake date)
Because staying at the KEK dormitories and apartment facilities became impossible after the
earthquake, we have cancelled all the bookings from that night on.
No charges will be implied. If you have any questions, please contact the Users Office.
4. Applications for the Work in the Radiation Area
In the aftermath of the latest earthquake, our KRS system cannot be accessed, therefore online User
Registration Update and other applications are not possible. Usually, one fills in Application 10
(Radiation work) after the User Registration is complete, but under circumstances, those who need
this application urgently, shall make a download from the below:

Please fill in this Application 10 and submit it for tentative registration directly to the Radiation Science
Center (RAD). Signature/Seal of the Head or Spokesperson are necessary.
When the KRS system is retrieved, please make actual online application (after User Registration).
Print-out shall be submitted as original, and this time signature/seal can be abbreviated.
