Tsukuba campus KEK Computing Research Center operates wireless LAN system which is available in some areas in Tsukuba campus by MA cluster. The annual renewal will be conducted as following.We would like to ask all users for the cooperation.
Due to our system Maintenance, those Users who haven’t made a renewal for use of the wireless LAN from March 1st of the current year 2011, will be deleted from the system. Those will need to Re-register. Those who haven’t made renewal for the purpose of visit KEK/J-PARK shall renew before renewing use of wireless LAN.
Only Users who have made annual update in the registration for use of the wireless LAN this fiscal year will be able to use the internet, subsequently.

1.Re-register the use of wireless LAN

The connection of internet might be difficult during the conducting day and electric power cut off period (Aug. 16 – Aug. 18 )

SSID and WEP will not be changed.
Due to deficiency in performance of wireless LAN authentication device of MA cluster which we’ve been using, only the authentication device part will be renewed and start operating the new MA cluster. It will be scaled down gradually and we will take into consideration the full transition of new MA cluster a year later.
