  square01_b Utilization of Liquid Helium 

   a. If a research and experiment group requires liquid helium, please apply on User Support System
   b. The experiment group needs to prepare a liquid helium dewar and bring it to the Cryogenic Science Center(Bldg. No.2) one day before being supplied. If the container has been left at td13M temperature, please pre-cool it down with liquid nitrogen beforehand. 
Liquid helium can be supplied between Tuesday and Friday excluding holidays.
   c. Liquid helium can be supplied between Tuesday and Friday excluding holidays.
   d. An electric car is available to transport the dewar. Please utilize the car after applying to Messrs. Sugawara, Iida, Tanaka, or Ohata, each of whom can be reached on 029-864-5463.
   e. Please try not to leak the gas because liquid helium is very important resource.
   f. Please handle with care of the liquid helium dewar because it does not have a strong underlying structure.


  square01_b Utilization of Liquid Nitrogen

   a. Liquid nitrogen can be transferred from the liquid nitrogen tank (CE) at the Cryogenic Science Center (Bldg. No.1). To open the gate to access CE, please use your ID card.
   b. Please measure the transferred amount of liquid nitrogen on the weighing machine, and record the amount. Do not use an out-of-date container.
   c. Please contact, first, to above 4 engineers to get consulting.

    Liquid gas is very dangerous if improperly handled. Please take the utmost care when handling it. If you have any questions, please contact Messrs. Sugawara, Iida, Tanaka, or Ohata of the Cryogenic Science Center. You can reach any of them on 029-864-5463. The application can be also made through the home page of the Cryogenic Sience Center.
