The Photon Factory is a 2.5GeV synchrotron with a beam current of around 350mA. Its macromolecular crystallography beamline is used substantially for Japan's structural genomics project.\"

The PF-AR 'Advanced Ring for Pulsed X-Rays', which is a 6.5GeV machine running in a single-bunch mode with a beam current of around 35mA. Its macromolecular crystallography beamline is used substantially for Japan's structural genomics project.

\n3. Slow Positron Facility<\/strong>
provides a high intensity, pulsed slow positron beam. The beam is used for researches in solid state physics and atomic and molelcular physics.

\n4. The Injection Linac<\/strong>
This powerful linear accelerator supplies an 7 billion electron-volt electron beam and a 4 billion electron-volt positron beam to the two KEKB rings. It is a multi-purpose facility which also supplies other electron accelerators at the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization.
