Dr. Robert Froeschl from HSE-RP at CERN has visited the Radiation Science Center from June 25 to July 7 as Invited Fellow Position researcher. Dr. Froeschl has not only conducted the shielding design of accelerators and beamlines of CERN proton complex, but also the experimental validation of the design method and the development of calculation codes. During his stay, Dr. Froeschl gave two seminar presentations at KEK Tsukuba and J-PARC, and exchanged ideas for future collaboration between KEK and CERN in experiments and calculations related to radiation shielding.<\/p>\n\n\n
