KEK exhibited at annual festival \u201cNiconico Chokaigi 2024\u201d held at Makuhari Messe on April 27-28, and introduced our research activities by live broadcasts, hands-on corners, and various projects. The mechanical engineering center (MEC) held \u201cvacuum super-experiment\u201d in two days. Most of participants were surprised to actually see a metal bolt and a feather fall simultaneously. The 3D-printed Belle II detector<\/a>, which was on display at the KEK Spring Campus Open House, was also on display. On April 28, the Applied Research Laboratory and the MEC were explained in \u201cSuper explanation (2) of Cho-KEK\u201d. In addition, more than 100 people participated in the \u201cSuper-Threading experience\u201d, which they made screws using taps on acrylics.<\/p>\n\n\n
