   Preventive measure against the Influenza A/H1N1 epidemic (REVISED May 6, '10)

Ibaraki Prefecture has lifted A/H1N1 influenza pandemic alert with evidence that the number of cases of A/H1N1 virus in Japan has dropped and the outbreak has abated. Accordingly, KEK will terminate the preventive measure that limits the visit of KEK Tsukuba campus, as of May 6, 2010.

.Please note that the preventive measure remains to be applicable to all employees, visitors and guests to the Tokai Campus, and infected employees will be eligible for the duty exemptions.

Number of confirmed cases of A /H1N1 virus infection in KEK campuses has been 27 so far. To prevent further infection, please keep washing your hands, gargling and remember cough etiquette.
