Five Diet members including Kaoru Yosano, the Minister in charge of economic and fiscal policy, visited KEK on Septermber 4. Other members are Takeo Kawamura, former Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Eisuke Mori, Shunichi Suzuki and Shinji Inoue, members of the House of Representative.
 
Members received an introductory address by KEK Director General Atsuto Suzuki, and visited the accelerator facilities at the Electron/Positron Linac, KEKB factory and ATF, Advanced Test Facility.
