Dr. Ralph Eichler, the director of Paul Sherrer Institute in Switzerland, visited KEK on February 9. KEK is collaborating with PSI in particle physics research and muon-spin spectroscopy under the research agreements. Dr. Eichler discussed with the KEK directors about the collaborations, and then visited the research facilities. In the evening, he presented a lecture about the research program of PSI, gathering many audiences in the seminar hall in 4-Go-Kan building. He also visited J-PARC construction site on the next day before leaving Japan.
