Tsukuba-city's community bus called Tsuku-Bus stops at the bus-stop in front of KEK from 1 April, 2011, upon the reorganization of Tsuku-Bus network and operation. KEK bus stop, three stops form Tsukuba center bus terminal, is on the Hokubu-Shuttle-Bus route. The Fare is 300 yen, cheaper than Kantetsu-Bus.
