The Color of the Trumpet Sound

We offer you a charming evening concert in this autumn season with standard trumpet pieces from the baroque to the modern eras. A brief account of how the trumpet sound is formed will also be given, along with the historical development of the instrument and the varieties emerged during the time. The colorful sound of the instrument afforded by the variety will be demonstrated by the pieces performed, which include Clark's Trumpet Voluntary, Shubert's Ave Maria and a piece from the film The Godfather Part II by Rota.
