The Antarctic Muon and Neutrino Detector Array (AMANDA) is the
largest operating Cherenkov telescope to search for
high energy neutrinos from astrophysical accelerators.
Located at the Geographic South Pole, since the year 2000
the instrument consists of 677 optical modules, deployed in the
ice at depths between 1.5 and 2 Km.
In this talk recent results on the search for high energy
astrophysical neutrinos will be presented.
This includes the search for a diffuse flux and for neutrinos
from point sources.
The first measurement of the atmospheric neutrino flux above 1 TeV
will also be shown.
