We are studying a number of aspects in the Cryogenic Liquids: helium, hydrogen, neon, argon, krypton and xenon. Each of these has unique properties that are interesting from the point of view of physics and applications for tracking and other applications. We are exploring electron avalanches in the liquids, and in the first three liquids mentioned, where the electron is localized in a cavity in the liquid that we call an eBubble, we are investigating the yield and different detection schemes. We are also searching for bubbles containing multiple electrons, interesting for their unique quantum states. |
