We discuss about a new analysis method for the search of anomalous couplings in the top-quark decay at Tevatron. The anomalous couplings are expected to alter the spin direction of produced top quarks. We propose a new method to reconstruct the spin direction. In the conventional approach, the top quark spin is reconstructed by using the top-antitop spin correlation. In our approach, however, we use the only top quark side information using the direction of lepton from the top quark decay. We found this variable works as a strong analyzer to detect the anomalous couplings in top decay. Results from simulation studies for the CDF Run II experiment will be presented. In addition, some features are discussed for possible applications of this method. |
