The MiniBooNE experiment at Fermilab has searched for $\nu_\mu
\rightarrow \nu_e$ oscillations. MiniBooNE's goal is to confirm or
refute the high $\Delta m^2$ two neutrino oscillations result
observed by LSND. The first oscillation results from MiniBooNE are
presented.
