This report describes the performance and the experimental results of
the PIBETA detector built for the precise measurement of the branching ratio of the pion beta decay, at Paul Scherrer Institute. The central part of detector is the 240-module
spherical pure CsI calorimeter covering 3pi solid angle. The calorimeter is supplemented with the active collimator/
beam degrader system, active segmented plastic target, a pair of low-mass cylindrical wire chambers and 20 - element cylindrical plastic scintillator hodoscope. The beam stopping rate was 1.3 *10^6 pion/per second. During 1999-2001 years 50 000 pion beta decay events were recorded. Then will be consider MACS apparatus at PSI for searching muonium-antimuonium
conversion. The signature requests were the coincidence between the energetic electron from the muon decay of
antimuonium in a magnetic spectrometer with the atomic shell positron, which is accelerated and magnetically guided into a microchannel plate and at least one annihilation photon in a CsI
calorimeter. Also will be describe experiment for a search for pion and muon
rare and forbidden decays using a wide solid-angle magnetic spectrometer ARES - utilized by cylindrical proportional
chambers and cylindrical
scintillation hodoscopes.
