The cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation has provided a tool to
probe physics of the early universe since its discovery. The current
experimental efforts with state-of-the-art technology have just begun
searching for the observational evidence of the inflation. In this talk,
we review the current status of the CMB experiments using two examples
of Planck and BICEP. Planck is the recently successfully launched
space-borne CMB experiment and BICEP is the ground based experiment
observing from the south pole. |
