The Fermilab Tevatron Collider is again providing p bar -p collisions after a shutdown of five years for high luminosity upgrades. During this time the CDF and D0 detectors were substantially upgraded to accommodate the higher luminosities and to improve performance. This seminar will present and overview of the upgraded Tevatron and CDF experiment, and describe their performance based upon recent commissioning data taking. The physics potential of the CDF and D0 experiments will be reviewed using Run 1 measurements as the basis for predicting Run 2 Physics expectations. |
