New higher excited states of D and Ds mesons were recently discovered.
However, the conventional potential model fails to explain these mass
spectra.
In this talk, we introduce new formalism of bound state equation of
heavy-light (charmed & bottomed) mesons, in which the effective
Hamiltonian and wave functions are expanded in 1/m_Q respecting heavy
quark symmetry and chiral symmetry.
We show that mass spectra are in good agreement in our model.
