In 1986, Witten constructed open bosonic string field theory. In 1992, Zwiebach completed the construction of closed bosonic string field theory. In 1995, Berkovits constructed the bosonic part of open superstring field theory. And in 2004, Berkovits, Zwiebach, and I constructed the bosonic part of heterotic string field theory. I will explain our construction of heterotic string field theory in this talk. |
