アブストラクト: Two-flavor (up and down) quark matter in the instanton vacuum is investigated in mean-field approximation at T=0. Electric charge neutrality is imposed for \beta-equilibrated quark matter. At finite chemical potential, a new globally charge neutral mixed phase is found between locally charge neutral chiral symmetry broken (CC) and 2-flavor color superconducting (2SC) phases. The mixed phase is a mixture of negatively charged CC and positively charged 2SC subphases with appropriate volume proportion in a uniform electron gas. In addition, particle number densities, effect of finite current quark mass on phase structure, the quark matter equation of state and compact stars in this model are also investigated.
