アブストラクト: According to the recent experimental data such as LEP and B physics, the possibility of the light Higgs boson in the MSSM is quite limited. On the other hand, it is well known that to have the strong first order phase transition, the light Higgs boson is necessary. To reach the definitive conclusion, the reduction of the theoretical uncertainties, especially at finite temperature, is mandatory. In this talk, I will first talk about the tension caused by the experimental data, then argue the electroweak phase transition at the 1-loop level. The nucleation of bubble wall and the sphaleron decoupling condition are also discussed. Then I will move on to the 2-loop analysis which can be crucial for the successful baryogenesis. In this talk, as a first step towards the complete analysis, I will discuss the finite temperature phase transition in the Abelian-Higgs model at the 2-loop order. Finally, I will remark the necessary calculations to work out the remaining issues.
