TITLE: Accelerator Physics Seminar [ Electron Cloud Density Simulation in Antechamber of KEKB ]

ABSTRACT: Antechamber is very useful for reducing the electron cloud density in the vacuum. According to the experiments in KEKB LER, the electron cloud current is much smaller when using the antechamber. In the talk, electron cloud density simulation for KEKB LER in antechamber is done and compare with the experiment. According to simulation results, if the vacuum pipe is antechamber, the bunch spacing can be reduced to 3 buckets and the beam can be increased. The same calculation is done for BEPCII and optimized the best filling mode. The plan to wind solenoid in BEPCII as that in KEKB LER is also introduced.
