TITLE: Hydrogen Energy for the Sustainable Growth

ABSTRACT: It is world consensus that recent global warming has been caused by rapid increase of carbon dioxide concentration originated from human activities. A transition from fossil fuels to the clean energy system with hydrogen becomes more urgent ever before for the sustainable growth. In this talk, the significance of hydrogen energy system is described in terms of material cycle of H2/H2O compared with C/CO2. Required technical challenges and the future prospect are also given.
