ABSTRACT: Diamond Light Source is the new third generation synchrotron light source in Oxfordshire, UK. It offers a wide range of experimental techniques for physical and life sciences. In total six beamlines are dedicated to macromolecular crystallography. The first three phase I beamlines have been operational for more than a year. The microfocus MX beamline has accepted first users in August 2008 and the monochromatic side station is schedule for spring 2009. Additionally, Diamond is going to build a dedicated long-wavelength beamline to exploit the possibilities for sulphur SAD phasing. The talk will give an overview on the status of the phase I beamlines, show some latest commissioning results of the microfocus beamline and discuss ideas about the long-wavelength beamline.
