| ABSTRACT: |
The Australian Synchrotron is the new 3rd generation synchrotron source currently being built in Victoria, Australia. This 3GeV machine will come on-line for users in 2007. Funding for Phase 1 covers the construction of the machine and nine Phase 1 beamlines of which 2 are dedicated to Protein Crystallography.
I will present details of the Australian Synchrotron Project including an update on construction progress. I will then present our plans for the two protein crystallography beamlines. |
