I will review the application of Dressed Gluon Exponentiation (DGE) to inclusive B decay spectra. I will first demonstrate the renormalon problem in conventional Sudakov resummation and show how this problem is solved by computing the Sudakov exponent as well as the pole mass using Principal-Value Borel summation. I will explain the relation between the calculation of the Sudakov factor beyond logarithmic accuracy and the parametrization of non-perturbative power corrections near threshold (the "shape function"). I will
then present numerical predictions of the partial branching fraction as well as spectral moments with experimentally relevant cuts for photon spectrum in B -> X_s gamma and the triple differential width in B -> X_u l nu and conclude by discussing the consequences for precision measurement of V_ub. |
