ABSTRACT: First accelerator-based neutrino oscillation results from MINOS experiment is presented. MINOS is a long-baseline experiment uses NuMI neutrino beam produced by 120GeV Main Injector proton beam at Fermilab. Beam neutrino interactions are observed by two detectors, the near detector at Fermilab and the far detector at Soundan mine after 735km flight. The MINOS far detector data from 0.93E20 pot exposure to the NuMI neutrino beam is used for the neutrino oscillation analysis. We observed a deficit of the muon neutrinos and the spectrum distortion, which is consistent with the prediction from neutrino oscillation.
