ABSTRACT: |
The first collision at LHC is scheduled in summer 2008.
The accelerator and experimental groups are now working
hard to finalize the apparatus and to prepare for
physics programs with early data.
In this talk, I will present current activities toward
the start up of the long-awaited first collision.
I will also discuss long term physics programs, especially
on Higgs and searches for signature beyond the
Standard Model, in relation to physics at ILC. |
