ABSTRACT: We are conducting an experiment searching for lepton-flavor violating muon decay to gamma and positron at Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland. The experiment aims to achieve a sensitivity of 10^-13, which is two orders of magnitude lower than the current experimental limit. The experiment successfully completed engineering runs in 2007 and starting full data acquisition in 2008. I will describe uniqueness of the experimental apparatus and summarize future prospects of the experiment.
