ABSTRACT: |
We discuss the status of the standard model predictions for mixing observables in
the charm and the bottom system. With that input we develop a model-independent
framework of extracting new physics in mixing from different observables. Finally we
present some particular extensions of the standard model and their impact on mixing
observables. Aspecial focus of this talk is given to quantities, which are on the theorists
wish-list for Belle II. |
