| ABSTRACT: |
The recent results from ATLAS and CMS regarding searches for a Higgs boson decaying into a pair of tau leptons are presented. This uses full data delivered by the LHC in 2011 and 2012. Both ATLAS and CMS observe an excess incompatible with background expectations with observed (expected) deviation from the background-only hypothesis corresponding to a significance of 4.1 (3.2) standard deviations for ATLAS and 3.4 (3.6) for CMS. |
