ABSTRACT: The recent Belle and Babar measurements of the branching ratios $B^{-} \to \pi^{-} \pi^{+} \pi^{-}, \pi^{+} \pi^{-} K^{-} $ and $K^{+} K^{-} K^{-}$ and $B^{\pm} \to \chi_{c0} K^{\pm}$ have renewed interests in these decays as another mean to look for direct CP violation in B-meson decays. In this talk, I would like to discuss an sucessful phenomeological application of the chiral-heavy quark effective theory on $B \to$ 3 body decays and detail calculations of possible diagrams for the non-resonant contributions. For the resonant contribution, intermediate $\rho, f_{0}$ and $\chi_{c0}$ meson contributions are included to investigate the direct CP asymmetry, which results from the interference of the non-resonant amplitude with the resonant amplitudes. The direct CP asymmetry could reach about 10\%, whcih can be tested in near future Babar/Belle measurement.
