ABSTRACT: FINUDA was a complex magnetic spectrometer installed on the DAFNE e+e- collider, the Italian phi-factory of the Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati of INFN.
It was carefully designed for an extensive program of hypernuclear physics, focused mainly on spectroscopy of light single Lambda hypernuclei and on systematic study of their decay modes.
Among the latest results are of particular importance the first observation of the neutron-rich hypernucleus 6H(Lambda) and the first experimental evidence of the so called 2-nucleon induced non-mesonic weak decay.
Such results, obtained thank to the excellent performance of the FINUDA apparatus and the fully reliable simulation and reconstruction programs, will be presented as well as the analysis strategies adopted.
