Abstract: At the classical level, the superstring in an AdS_5xS^5 background can be described either using the Green-Schwarz formalism or pure spinor formalism. However, at the quantum level, the pure spinor formalism has several advantages. Using cohomology arguments, the pure spinor formalism in this background will be proven to be conformally invariant to all orders in perturbation theory and non-local BRST-invariant charges will be shown to exist at the quantum level. |
