ABSTRACT: Generalized parton distributions (GPDs) describe the internal structure of hadrons in terms of quark and gluon degrees of freedom, combining the features of form factors, parton densities and distribution amplitudes. In this talk we present results for the lowest three moments of unpolarized, polarized and transversely polarized GPDs. The moments follow a certain pattern, which allows to reconstruct the GPDs by an inverse Mellin transform. Images of the spatial distribution of charge, spin and transversity in the fast moving nucleon are presented. In addition, the orbital angular momentum of up and down quarks, contributing to the spin of the nucleon, is determined.
