TITLE: Four-fermion production at gamma gamma colliders

ABSTRACT: A future $\gamma\gamma$ collider will be a true W-pair factory, rendering precision calculations for W-pair production very important for signal and background studies. In this seminar the {\cal O}($\alpha$) electroweak radiative corrections to $\gamma\gamma\to$ WW $\to 4f$ in the double-pole approximation (DPA) will be presented. In detail, virtual corrections are treated in DPA, leading to a classification into factorizable and non-factorizable contributions, and real-photonic corrections are based on complete lowest-order matrix elements for $\gamma\gamma\to 4f\gamma$. Soft and collinear singularities are combined using the dipole subtraction method or by applying phase-space slicing. The {\cal O}($\alpha$) corrections comprise resonant Higgs production $\gamma\gamma\to$ H $\to$ WW $\to4f$ which is of particular interest and should be described more accurately. As one ingredient first results on the complete {\cal O}($\alpha$) corrections to H $\to$ WW $\to 4f$ will be presented.
