ABSTRACT: |
Little Higgs models revive an old idea to keep the Higgs boson
naturally light, by identifying the Higgs boson as a pseudo-Goldstone
boson of some broken symmetries. The Higgs boson mass is radiatively
generated, and electroweak symmetry breaking is triggerred by a
Coleman-Weinberg potential. The old problem of too large radiative
corrections to the Higgs mass with a 10 TeV cut-off is solved by
introducing the collective symmetry breaking. We will examine the basic
mechanism of Little Higgs models, see the characteristic signatures at
colliders, and discuss improvements in the degree of fine-tuning.
