TITLE: High-energy QCD: saturation and fluctuation effects
CONTACT: tango
LANGUAGE: English
ABSTRACT: The talk will be essentially made of two parts. In the first one, I shall introduce the equations driving the evolution of scattering amplitudes towards high energy. I shall review the dipole picture, and describe the steps needed to obtain a picture of the evolution including both saturation and fluctuations effects. In the second part of the talk, I shall concentrate on the solutions to these equations. Through a powerful analogy with statistical physics, geometric scaling will be derived in the presence of saturation. Then, the more intricated question of saturation will be presented. I shall show results from numerical simulations and discuss the main physical effects, leading to the concept of diffusive scaling.
