Non-relativistic strings are introduced as a decouple sector of string theory with a Galilean invariant dispersion relation. Non-relativistic superstring in $ads_5\times S5$ is described by a free field theory in $ads_2$. Non-relativistic string theory provides a possible new calculable setting to study ads/CFT correspondence.
